[rom] Ivan's Aosp Lollipop 5.1

Where can I find this lpa feature in the settings? I have to admit that aosp settings are very basic if you are used to cm or miui ;-)

Only I have random moments where the touch screen in unresponsive?
To fix I have to turn off the screen and turn it on again.

Hi @EmieTSI
I think it's an xposed module. Therefore you have to install xposed first.

xposed with 5.1 works like a charm, but not all modules are supported ATM. we need to wait for developers to update them to make them work on 5.1 builds.

about battery drain: I use AOSP 4.12.5 from december, and never suffered excessive battery drain.
try to take a look at processes which wake up your device if not needed..
I had a bootloop after trying install xposed installer on 4.12.5. After flash xposed-sdk21-arm.zip file, the phone stick at boot animation. Do you know how to fix that? how do you install xposed on your phone?

You must flash xposed for 5.1 Lollipop: xposed-arm-20150308-5.1.zip and then install XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha2.apk
After that you must go to xposed -> Framework -> Soft reboot to get root access.

edit: ohhh, as I see now u are on 5.0.2 lollipop, you are in a wrong thread... this is Ivan`s Aosp Lollipop 5.1 thread.
There is original theme for Android 5.0 Lollipop 4.12.5:

yes, I know. But @zipalign had installed xposed sucessfully on that 4.12.5 rom, so I just want to ask him for help.
But I also want to ask you: have you install xposed on 5.1 rom? does xposed work well on it?

Yes it works very well, but there is a lot of non working modules such as gravitybox, amplify, greenify... :(
Here is the list of working and non working modules for xposed lollipop 5.1:

you will never reach battery life like this rom without fixing cm12 , we need a fixed cm12 , after that roms
No, LPA can be disabled in build.prop.
enable :
lpa decode
tunnel decode
tunnel audio video decode
by deleting false and writing true , reboot , compare battery life

i disable lpa, and now i cant see a video. So i enabled again.

just reporting, maybe it's only me

I've been using 5.1 from 1st release. On 5.4.14 I had so far cca 4 random reboots. Battery life is really good.

But there is one thing I couldn't figure out.

How can I take a screenshot? :D :)

Doesnt work for me. Nothing is gonna to happen. In gallery there is no album screenshot. It only sometimes changes volume level.
It should. I guess you've already made many attempts, but try again and remember to press the buttons as simultaneously as possible.

linuxxxx`s pizza is almost ready :) CM 12.1 - lolli 5.1.1

He edited his comment, not ready.
If it is just a 12 updated to 12.1 without solving any problems, why releasing it.
CM12 was the most buged rom I installed on my mi2s, almost nothing worked.

For all those having mic problems, etc. on the xda thread someone is talking about using miflash to refresh the phone before upgrading to lollipop roms. Maybe it could help some of you.

Excellent battery usage on 5.4.14 with 2000mah battery, as you can see in screenshots - screen on time it was 5h 45m! But it would be better without Cell standby battery draining. It happens at about 50% - 60% that cell standby drainage and always jumping. I am using Google Play Services] [v7.3.29] SystemUpdateService Wakelock Fix and it is really great doing its job.
