Media server is not the reason for battery drain
Can you post the battery picture of ur idle time? I'm sure you also have the battery drain if you are using CM 10.2/Mokee, Not sure about AOSP

just use any script in xda-developers for CM 10.2 or use battery saver pro !
i am sure you can check the init.d status also for yourself right ?

AOSP also has got the same battery life as CM 10.2 as both these ROMs are based on CM's Kernel source.
so it doesn't matter which one you use, you have to live with it until some dev finds a solution. I have high hopes on Mokee though !

I'm using cofface CM 10.2 but just now i've charged it to full so can't post it now.... I wanted to check with AOSP so just now installed AOSP on system1, If its fine on AOSP i will stick to it (I think battery drain will be there, Just trying)
If possible post the battery life of mokee's rom

I've seen but not interested in it its 4.2.2
If we want 4.2.2 we still have cm 10.1.... y we need samartian os

True, but its graphics is awesome & if it is way more better than 4.3 , why not we make it a default ROM for daily use & skip MIUI ?
Just a thought... what do you say ?
Have you seen its GUI ? WOW ! from where did they get such a crazy f.....g idea to create such a smooth & nice looking Interface ???

Did you tried??? It seems it has bugs, I prefer bug free rom and neat performance rom like CM/AOKP/Oxygen/Slimbean/.. - rather than display/animations etc

I tried the previous version... it was good but sometimes used to reboot on its own & become unresponsive & some other apps were not working as intended to...
like that...
other than that, it is also great... i am waiting for the final version of Smartison OS for Mi2S !

I flashed the latest cofface CM10.2 but it seems that the battery usage is higher than with WIUI, I guess that's a kernel issue? Switching to WIUI again.

I'm pretty happy with wiui but I will test cm someday. You can't compare battery life without using the Rom for less than 2-3 days. There may even be some kind of cache conflict in sd storage that keep media server running for long time

no, i dont have battery drain issue with me.... i am using Mokee's ROM 29-08-2013 with battery saver pro & Fly on Mod ....
very nice performance & battery gets discharged normally & infact i feel it is better than MIUI / WIUI !
