This is most likely because the build script was made with Windows in mind and on there the different case copies would overwrite each other.

This would sound plausible, except that Android doesn't build under Windows...

Root didn't work but i flashed the zip with superuser update and it's working now

For me, integrated superuser didn't work properly as well (exposed framework didn't install with integrated superuser), I also solved with superSU flashable zip...
