Not necessary that you should come from MIUI v3.7.19 you can flash it over any version of MIUI.
I hope this is what you meant by your question... Is that it ?

hahhaa sorry for late reply.. its easy bro..
step 1: download the Backup apk
step 2: Use R@@t Explorer and put the backup.apk into /system/app
Step 3: Change the backup.apk permission by TICKing all of the 9 Options. [Ignore special Permission]
Step 4: restart

OR

open the Zip ROM. then transfer the Backup.apk to /system/app then copy to sdcard and FLASH the ROM.
remember to wipe first

Can you attempt porting to android v4.2.2 yet on MIUI v5 ?
Is that so difficult or it is not that good & there is no much difference you felt ? why i am not seeing any active participation in cooking new ROMs based on v4.2.2 for Xiaomi ? is that just because of the closed Kernel only ?

u need to learn how to implement tweak into any rom. or at least compile and decompile any packages or framework.
happy hunting.. oh yeah... edify the updater-script.. learn all this.
if you want to port a 4.3 AOSP rom... learn porting first.

better yet have linux installed in ur comp

i love this Linux, Unix, Coding & Programme writing... but i have no idea it would be & not having the basic knowledge atleast....
because i am a doctor...not an engineer.... hence i am begging here so much...
let me see if anyone can help me with my request or i should have to wait for the Xiaomi itself to release the source & also wait for the Custom ROMs cooked by Developers here....

6. Reboot. If the CWM ask anything bout replacing recovery or ROOT .... just select BACK till it reboot itself. Do NOT try to be funny on this.
I have accodentally pressed YES on this for both System1 and System2.
Phone booted normally i think.
What if i restore my CWM Backup i made and then re-install your ROM. Will it be ok?
