i did the partition thing.but link2sd app gave error. app doesnt recognize the ext2 part.
You have to make it ext4! It solved. By the way there is no file vold.fstab on miui 7 roms!!

Android kitkat (4.4.x) have file /system/bin/vold, vold.fstab is only in android 4.2.x
In redrice with MIUI8 can we have this?

What is your problem? install app on sdcard through Link2SD on ext4 partzione ? I was referring to the fact that in the original ROM with redmi 1 internal memory and sdcard were mounted in reverse and in my ROM is fixed.
With redmi 1 memory configuration is like in the screenshots and that I know you can not change it, if you want to install the app on sdcard the only method is to use Link2SD or similar programs. This applies to all of miui versions

I installed the link2sd and i transfer the most apks to sd. Fine...
But i have a problem...i organize the icons in launcher. When i reboot the phone the icons of apks that are in sd stayed very disorganized aleatory in launcher! Can i fix this??

I try link2SD and titanium backup but the problem is the same. Apps that are in SD card, when I reboot the phone the icons appear in launcher alleatory and disorganized..

edyros, can I try partition my SDcard with ext2/ext4 to try increase internal memory in redrice with your ROM (Miui8 redmi note port). This method is available in MIUI8?
With link2sd it works only partitioning in ext4.

You're wrong something in the sdcard partition, you must have two partitions the first primary fat32, the second ext4 must be PRIMARY. For me it has always worked.

I have a SD card with 32gb - Im tryind do this with mini tool partition wizard...but after this the fone dont recognize. The second partition ext4 can have 6gb?

cant find the file (vold.fstab) in system/etc.. i find the file in system/bin instead of systems/etc. is it the same file???
It is not the same, in Android Kitkat 4.4 the file vold.fstab does not exist but was replaced by the system/bin/vold which is a binary file. vold.fstab exist in Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and it is a text file.
