Redmi Pro Oled Screen Not Tottaly Black

i have been using this phone around a month now.
the problem is the screen not totally black.
it just turn into brownish colour at the background.

already tried with black wallpaper and played with brightness..

i think this is one of the causes for battery drain..

can someone explain this or do we have the fix for this problem?

Got the same problem as adziim91. My Redmi Pro have brownish color instead of true black like all OLED devices.

i noticed this problem when i was using china stable.. currently im using eu weekly..
still the same problem persist.

Black is totally black, but not at lowest brightness. You have to set an average brightness to get real black. That's obvious when you play videos (BSPlayer, MXPlayer, i.e). But yes, when you decrease the brightness too much, image gets brownish.

If someone know why the panel behaves this way, please let us know.
