New Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G (amethst) EU rom has a problem. 120 watt charge is not work on EU rom.

ah yes, phone literally DISchariging when it's plugged into the "charge your phone in 10 minutes to 100% brick" aka 120W, check AccuBattery - phone's barely getting any power (Also, Ampere or Accu has been around for years and it's not some crappy app:)). But if it's not enough, system itself can display the current it's getting, but yeah, that's also crap and ad-infested (Xiaomi, am I right, haha;))

Xiaomi did not stop displaying the 120W message:)
"Quick Charging" message is displayed when charging with standard power:)

Turbo Charge did stop working - look up.

Explain, don't complain then? XD

First of all, that's not the order of things that have happened? Nobody here was asking for help with their phone not turning on. You say "different firmwares" like someone was combining softs from literally multiple vendors, for different phones XD
Yes, a fix would be nice, as one of the critical features - Charging your phone - is not working properly.

People who spoke here, were willing to test, debug and experience themselves on how to try to fix the issue, yet you come here and believe we are some ******* privileged people, who expect everything to be done for them.

I can't tell whether you're just some troll, or you really believe in what you're saying - but that's simply disgusting and offensive to everyone included. Yet, you are not going to explain, how "120W" works actually, because... Do you actually know what it is yourself? Do you even own a RN14P+ in the first place and you KNOW in details what are we talking about? XD

Please, restrain from that amount of toxicity, because it simply shows how deeply rooted your own issues might be - Just do it for your own sake and PR.

Edit:

I hope it didn't brick your phone tho?... :/
Phone is work normally

>Xiaomi decides to stop displaying "120W" message and uses "charging quickly" instead because it'd be easier for end users to understand, like, "dude the f**k is 120W lmao, just charge I don't give a damn"
>Some users get confused and think "turbo charge" stopped working
>Pretend to know what the f**k does 120W actually mean
>Download some crappy ad-infested app and trust the displayed results
>Proceed to "build" a new ROM with images from different firmwares
>Phone doesn't turn on
>Fix it ASAP

Bruh
Forget the Ampere program. Look, Xiaomi's own charging test program installed on the system. It opens when you click on the kernel version in the settings a few times. You probably don't know that either, but you think you do. With the original charging cable, at most 1033 mah. With another 5 amp cable, 4800 mah.

Well, technically... Their system is also ad-infested, maybe it's just as crappy as Ampere? LOL

I bought Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus with Snapdragon processor just to be able to use EU-ROM because it is ad-free. I didn't buy the previous version Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus phone just because it has a MediaTek processor and EU-ROM doesn't support MediaTek. Xiaomi has cheated us a lot. Chinese version, global version. Nonsense.

Eureka I found. We are installing Android 14 drivers on Android 15. Android 15 has not been released in global ROM yet. If you download EU-ROM HOS1.0.23.0 version and change the 21 img files in the firmware zip of Global ROM 1.0.6, 120 watt charging works bro. Nice :) firmware zip you found on internet

No way mate, you are a freaking detective actually LOL
Would you mind going through that process step-by-step, so that other people might find it easier to follow? (me included lol)

Also, idk if that's okay but imma ping @Igor Eisberg, our godly experimentator got it to work, hope this helps.

Thank you bro. I'm explaining. First of all, you will download the eu_rom HOS1.0.23.0 operating system from xiaomi.eu. Then you will download the amethyst OS1.0.6 firmware zip file, which is 117.8 mb, from xmfimwareupdater.com. Then you will copy all the files in the firmware-update folder in the OS1.0.6 firmware zip. You will paste them into the images folder in eu-rom. Total 21 files. You will select replace all. Then you will connect the phone to the computer in fastboot mode and install it with the install_and_format_data option in the eu-rom folder. That's it

Does the criticizing friend use his phone only to watch p*rn on the internet? Because he swears all the time. :)
Yes. Also, I don't know if "dot eu" team is planning to use global ROM as base for your device.
Congrats on getting 120W(hatever) displayed again on an animation that lasts like 10 seconds and you don't get to see again until you have to charge your phone again.

Congrats on getting 120W(hatever) displayed again on an animation that lasts like 10 seconds and you don't get to see again until you have to charge your phone again.
Congrats on being one of the worst trolls ever XD

They are not going to use global ROM as base, probably ever - but using parts of the global ROM? They were doing it for years XD

If this would be only about an animation, there would be no topic here - Please, go project your issues somewhere else, as... whatever you're doing, looks simply pathetic.

With the arrangement I made, it charged from 40% to 100% in 8 minutes. If you want, I can save the 120 watt charging animation as a gif and send it to you. You can watch it and be sad. You will think, how embarrassed I was.. :)

I think you kinda mixed up the versions?
Latest XIAOEU HOS2 is HOS2.0.7.0
Latest XIAOEU HOS1 is HOS1.0.23.0
Latest OG GLOBAL HOS1 is 1.0.6.0

Also, formating data is something I would really don't want to do lol

EDIT: I wonder which .img exactly is responsible for that. Maybe devcfg... Hm, interesting case eitherway.

HOS1.0.23.0 = OS.1.0.2 bro. I said that we
need to wait for the release of global rom os2.0 for eu-rom os 2.0.7 android 15
My method for only HOS1.0.23.0 Android 14.

Ahh, I thought you managed to make 120w work on HOS2.0.7.0 A15... My bad then
We will wait for the global rom android 15 version to be released. Then we will replace the firmware files taken from the global rom with the files in eu-rom HOS2.0.7. Then we will update. I found the method but we will have to wait.

I'm surprised it wasn't already obvious to this thread's participants that you can't use firmware built for Android 14 with an Android 15 OS.
Of course it won't boot.
Sadly it still doesn't explain which out of these 21 images is responsible for charging. Testing that would require flashing back the images from our ROM, then flashing an image from the global ROM individually. One possible candidate is devcfg.img.
