Problem with unlocking bootloader !!!

Hello everyone,

We are a plenty of EU users who are not able to unlock bootloader since a week !!

A thread as been open on XDA dev forums:

Mi unlock tool getting the "Please rebind and try again error.". Did somebody encounter this error?

I want to unlock the bootloader on my Mi Mix 3 5G, but I'm not able to... getting really frustrated with this. I've done all the steps required prior to unlocking the Bootloader: Enabled OEM Unlocking Enabled USB Debugging Added my Mi Account...

A lot of errors messages from mi unlock tool:
-Please rebind and try again
-your account is not allowed to unlock
-Can't unlock more devices this month

For now, no answer from Xiaomi ... Is it just servers which are broken?? Or does Xiaomi not allowed users to unlock bootloader anymore.

If someone is facing the same problem please share your experience or if someone as an answer

Another possibility is to use the tool "Xiaomi Professional Tool" use google if you are interested

yeah it sucks... I got my Mi11 Ultra and cant unlock it...(counter runs, but if the unlock works in a few days....)

Hello to Everyone,

I want to update the global FW of my new Poco F3 Pro to EU.
The BL countdown ends yesterday but unlocking procedure ends with message:

Couldn´t Unlock!
Please rebind and try again

Seems that all EU accounts of all miui Phones are affected.
So far there are no informations from support whats going on here and this since one week now.

Any comments or hints regarding this problem?
So far it´s impossible for all MIUI devices in Europe to update to a coustom ROM!

yes you cant do anything at the moment..

for workaround we have to wait till the hours countdown is ended

168 hours countdown ended yesterday. Unlocking still not possible.
In fact - there is a problem at the backend for EU customers.

i Bought an Xiamoi 12 pro. Installed and got problems. Rebboted with factory and now when trying to unlock it says a diffrent Mi number then i have on my phone when i log in at Mi acoount at web?? wtf?? Anyone els got this problem? Now i cant login with phone recover password.. Beacsue it has another mi number on the site then i have on my phone.. HELP!!

Yes I have this exact issue every time I've tried to unlock my Chinese Xiaomi 12 Pro it claims another number has previously locked the bootloader and that the bootloader thus cannot be unlocked. Think it says to try again with the same account that locked it but of course I don't have access to that. Was looking into custom tools but seems it relies on xiaomi servers so until someone reverse engineers and can bypass using xiaomi's servers to unlock the bootloader don't think they'll be a workaround My 12 Pro's been on the chinese stable since I've had it (now on miui 12.0.36)
