I try to enter in fastboot mode pressing volume down and power buttom but instead of appear the image of fastboot I get a black screen. How can I solve that?

- Install the Quick Boot (Reboot) app from Play Store on your Android One phone | Play store link →
- Open the app and grant Root Access
- Select ‘Bootloader‘ from the list of options and it’ll boot your device into Fastboot Mode
When connected to computer in EDL mode you can see Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader* in Device Manager under ports.
What rom do you have installed, is it working properly?

Try and push Vol + Vol- together and Power button to enter.

Redmi 3 ido is bit different than most, it has that selection screen where you can choose from many boot options.

Fastboot, Edl and Recovery etc is like older Redmi example Redmi 1/2 and Redmi is same -

No is not. It work. Allways work i have Ido.
Rest of phones to fastboot mode must push only vol- and power, but many models have this combination buttons
Pressing Vol - , Vol + and power buttom i go to QMMI menu and I can rebbot the device in several modes how pictures show
