Pet fountain error "The cover is lifted"

The application always show this error but the cover isn't lifted. In addition the fountain doesn't generate water.

What can I do?

Cleaning, romoval/installation without any help.
Did you solve the problem ?

Clean the 3 pins (back of the cover) and also the 3 pins in the can with a dry cloth.

Hi,
In history when some problems were occuring, general contact cleaning (mainly from water contamination) was helping.
This time I did clean it, but no help.
I've even use LPS Contact cleaner, but still no help, even slight.

Very interesting is the fact that my mother in law, who bought this machine couple months later than me, has the same problem and the problem appeared almost in the same time.
I have some suspections, that it might be connected with software version/ update.
In previous software there was no message " The cover is lifted"

Any more ideas ?

Hi.

Had the same problem, tried drying, this, that, contact spray. The only thing that actually helped is that I touched 3 pins of the top and 3 pins of the bottom with some carefully soldering iron.

Hi mate. Possibly oxidation due to contact with water. I solved this problem the way you said. Thanks a lot.

Same happen to me. I clean, but the error remains.

I don't know, however when I sent it to technical service, they sent me a new device (it was in warranty), so I imagine that is was a hardware problem

Same error here. It was under guarantee and they could not solve the issue. They changed it and now the new one has the same problem! I think it's a design defect.
