New Market App For MIUI

FC problem has came back :-(

This is what I did.

1. Clear data on OLD market.
2. Download latest GAPPs with old market. Flash it & open market to accept agreement. Reboot to recovery
3. Download latest Gapps with NEW market. Flash it & Open market.

You done.

another method, if any of you guys nandroid with the old market working fine, restore to that date. Then flash the new market with NO WIPE then it should work

or reflash the 0.12.18 making sure market works fine running smooth then flash the new market. If the link on the first post is dead let me know and I will re up the flashable zip for you guys

Guide To Run Latest Market
(it works for me at least... I have encountered no FC on new Market)
1. MIUI ROM 12.18
2. Upgrade ROM from previous version MIUI ROM
3. Clear data on old market. Immediately flash latest gapps the "with_traditional_market" zip
4. Run Market once (accept User Agreement)
5. Back into Recovery, flash latest gapps the "with_new_market" zip
6. Enjoy the latest Market!

ok - here's what i did, after none of these upper steps seemed to work:

- full-wipe your device
- enter recovery
- flash 0.12.11 deodexed (chinese is ok)
- start your phone (you should know the android by heart, now to understand it in chinese)
- enter your google-acc data
- enter the market and accept the license agreement
- exit market
- reboot to recovery
- do NOT full-wipe - JUST clear dalvik-cache
- flash 0.12.18
- flash 0.12.18 eng-pack
- flash the new market 2.2.7
- reboot

new market working flawlessly now

This is pretty much exactly what I did, however I installed the English pack for 12.11 aswell.

I believe MarkHUK has also followed these steps and had the same positive results.

Yep - correct.

I've never used recovery. I simply take the app out of the zip and push it. Works on most apps but the market just refuses!

Man I have to do all of this for just market app? I'll prolly wait for new MIUI with this integrated...
