Need help flashing my Mi 4S/with TWRP (chinese version)

Hey guys,

I just got my dad's Mi 4S and he asked me to update it to the latest version of MIUI.

1) I checked the download page for stable ROMs and the latest ROM I found was xiaomi.eu_multi_MI4s_V9.5.2.0.NAJCNFA_v9-7.0.zip. Is that correct?
I didn't find any weekly ROMs for the 4s (since it is kinda outdated that was to be expected I guess). Is this the best option to flash or should I try to go for a global ROM with Android 8, if one exists?

2) Currently there is TWRP 2.8.7.1. (chinese Version) installed on the phone:

Is it possible to flash the ROM with this Version of TWRP or should I update it to a more recent version first?

Last but not least: Can you help me with the buttons and explain where I should click? I sadly don't understand mandarin, so this is giving me a really hard time.

Your TeamWin Desktop isn't known to me. Maybe someone else know it and can help you to touch the correct buttons

I would update TWRP, bit I don't know which Android you have. If it's not Android 7 there are some specialities in updating TWRP/Android 7, as i remember.

Android 8 for Mi4S doesn,t come, I think.

No, there are no OTA-Updates as far as I know. Normally you download the ROM und update by installing via TWRP.

I think you might have success changing the chinese twrp with the following steps:

Push the 6th line (3rd from end)

The normally there's a configuration menu with 5 options at the top, where the last has a GLOBE as symbol.

Push the globe and there are serveral languages to choose:

In order:

Czech
Deutsch
Dutch
English
Francais
Hungarian
Italiano
Polish
Portuguese
