My MI 8 will arrive tomorrow. Couple of questions

Hello, how are you?
i pulled the trigger on a white MI 8 128gb and it is set to arrive tomorrow.
I have a couple of questions.
I would like to transfer my call log, sms messages and some apps with app data from my current android phone to the MI 8.
What is the best way to do it?

I bought the global version.
What apps and bloatware are removed by flashing to the xiaomi.eu?

yes...EU ROM are bloatware free
use an app called -sms backup and restore - to transfer all ur sms and call logs

I installed that app on my current phone, but it is not backing up my call log. Only my sms messages.

Try SMS Backup+, back it up to your Google account - that makes it easier to restore it to your new phone too. I use that regularly and it works well.

it's the app.... maybe u didn't give it storage access or use google account for backup... don't be afraid or the upload... it's just 500kb =!!!
