Just one correction: the 4 way reboot mod for GT-i9100 I posted before is not only for the multi rom, but for every rom based on 2.9.7 (still for GT-i9100).

I'm deeply sorry guys, but I don't have much spare time to mod every device... However, for those of you who want to know how I did it, just follow the instructions in this thread. For your convenience, I've already included Hot Reboot in the smali files I attached to this post, so you can use mine instead of the ones in the xda thread with just 2 WARNINGS:

1) I attached the MiuiGlobalActions$SinglePressAction.smali just for reference, because there's Hot Reboot added so you know how it should look like after modding. Keep on following the instructions on the XDA thread, but copy/paste the lines included in my SinglePressAction instead of the ones listed in the thread (you'll see "Hot Reboot", so you can't be wrong!).

2) Of course, since I'm using $33, replace every occurrence in MiuiGlobalActions.smali with 33 instead of 9 (generally just 2 occurrences: on lines 505 and 511, unless the file gets changed in next versions).

I'd be very happy if I was of some help to this thread!

I would love for this to work on the SGSIII US version. It's a pain having to press a series of buttons to get to recovery.

Are you sure guys that you have flashed this mod in proper way? No errors in recovery output during mod flashing?

And what about Incredible S ?

Desire S and Incredible S are missing this week (no ROM = no base to prepare mod).

Yes. I mounted the system before flashing. Zip flashed correctly and succesfully. Rebooted and nothing have changed. Tried several times. But all the same. Could you check it please. Very gratefull if you find a solution. Thanks.

I'm trying to get this working on my miui jb port for sgs3 for 2 weeks now, but without any positive result. Anyone has an idea on how to mod this for jellybean?

I've modded android.policy.jar (MIUI JB for SGS3) as described in the XDA thread, by editing MiuiGlobalActions smalis. It looks like when long pressing the power key and reboot, the 3 way menu appears, but when selecting any option the phone just hot reboots every time, no matter the option chosen. CM10 has the 3 way reboot menu implemented by default. And since the MIUI JB ports for S3 are CM10 based maybe someone with more modding experience can back engineer CM10's android.policy.jar?
