I have a very short time with Android, almost month and a half. I bought a Motorola Atrix, and I have already rooted and tried CM7 and 9, but finally I got stucked with MIUI. It's awesome. Should be the default interface for all Android. But is annoying for me that MIUI doesn't have support for the fingerprint reader on my phone, I don't know where to claim for it to Xiaomi or those who develop MIUI. I use a rom developed by a guy called Th3Bill, but seems he doesn't know either how to do that.

Despite of that, I have some other suggestions for MIUI general use. I have seen some of them right there.

• An option for changing current track playing from the screen lock by long-pressing volume keys, like CM7-CM9 does;
• Or an option for doing the same with hand gestures, like TTPod does;
• Setting the alarm clock tone in System settings rather in the clock app;
• An option to say 'Snooze' or 'Dismiss' when phone is ringing because of a clock alarm placing the hand over it (using the proximity sensor), like 'Magic Alarm' does;
• Auto-locking when the proximity sensor detects the phone is into a pocket;
• An option for sorting alphabetically icons in launcher and folders;
• An option for removing/hiding dock;
• Loop on home screens;
• Customize LED notification colors;
• Gestures on home screen (like @naaroth said);
• Set SMS alert volume apart from ringtone volume;
• Landscape mode in home screen...

At least it would be pleasant to know if some developer of MIUI would read all this thread!

An alternative method for taking screenshots when you're in full screen. Power + Home and Power + Vol - seem not to work (EVO 3D MIUI v4)

MIUI is awesome i like it more than other ROMs

I wish that the Call Recorder funtion could work as well with VOIP Calls not only with cell phone calls. Or an option to record Calls from Skype
And when you dialing a number to let you choice if you want to use another VOIP(like Google Voice or Skype) to make the phone call.

How to make lock screen transparent? I don't a transparent wallpaper because it shows the icons which i keep in the home screens. I want a proper live lock screen as in AOKP & ASOP roms.

please, make transparent volume up and down. When viewing video it's very nessesary.

1. Make Mms.apk's textbox (where we write message) Themable again. Now its just stays white background and green boarder. See screeny.
2. Make BLN default MIUI feature, can be turn on / off at settings or via MIUI Toolbox.
3. Gesture as default feature on MIUI Home Launcher.
4. Never auto screen lock after a call.

Hello,

with a long press on the Home key from the lock screen can activate the flashlight ... this same function to take a picture would be very helpful.

For example, long press on the search button to take a photo automatically, without delay. Increase the chances of capturing a certain moment, especially if you have security enabled on the lock screen.

Another interesting feature would be the automatic control of volume levels by measuring the ambient noise. Something similar to automatic brightness ... There are at least two applications on Google Play I've had in MIUI unsuccessfully fail to properly access control volume levels, Ringdimmer and Cool Volume.

I think the most important things that wish to be in MIUI rom are
1- extended power menu(for reboot option).
2- Expanded desktop option in the power menu.
3- MIUI keyboard.
4- Multi-Lang. full rom specialy that the android 4.1+ support the most of the word langs.

I can definitely agree with the camera app. That would be awesome! I'm using the old camera app now, but the updated one will be even better.

You can (on the mi2 anyway) under sounds
