you could google how to clear the keyguard stuff out if you can adb shell your phone / device

flashing .17 back on and will turn pin off, re flash .23 and see if I can set the pin to let you guys know, maybe ask the devs what they set the pin to? lol adb keyguard stuff could get messy
I have the exact same issue. The Rom was running perfect until I turned on BT...my phone immediately rebooted and would only stay up for about 30 seconds before rebooting again
I had first tried to install by just updating, when it started boot looping, I wiped and did a clean install, tried fixing permissions as well...nothing helps

Somehow my backup got corrupt as well so flashing back didn't work.
full wiped, flashed .27 set pin lock, locked phone and it says wrong pin entered, re flashing again now, so don't set a pin lock on this version, you won't be able to get back in.

the bug is the following
try to change the notification tone in whatsapp it will lag a bit and then it will open the theme selection screen instead of the ringtone selection screen..
happened to me on whatsapp and battery indicator pro.. and I assume it would happen on any app that uses the same "handle" or "toggle" to change the tone
and btw my phone is an EVO 3D (ShooterU)

I have noticed the same problem with Galaxy S2 but i dont mind it is a minor but hopefully soon it will be fixed.

Okay this version is completely beautiful. No FC's on my Galaxy Nexus and no bugs at all so far. Thank you soooo much to the MIUI team! <3 I love you guys.
One thing, though. While the rest of the ROM is super smooth as JB is supposed to be, there are stutters in some places. Like on the homescreen if I pinch to zoom out, the animation stutters. Also, in Gallery when I tap on a picture to open it, the thumbnail zooms into the photo with stutters. If there were fixed it would be like the best ROM in the world :O Hope the developers can look into this, when they can of course.
Oh and P.S. I'm using Trinity kernel, because I'm addicted to the color tweaks it brings. I hope that's not what's causing it Can someone confirm?

no issue until now. and hope no more. seem it's perfect.
previous issue all has been sorted out.
An update every week , is something SOME big names can't do . Big up to team MIUI . Great work as usual .
Clear cache wipe/dalvik
clear cache partition
install zip
reboot
Backup ur contacts and logs etc before flashing , and restore from backup menu .
MIUI made things as simple as possible

For Toro users: I just tested this ROM. Bluetooth appears to work fine (I experienced no reboots after 5 minutes, but I did not pair anything), Google Now and Location Services works fine once again, and everything seems smoother in general (could be placebo). I just wiped cache partition, wiped dalvik, and then dirty flashed over 2.8.17 with no errors or issues. Good luck and enjoy your new ROM!
