Just downloading now [over a slow connection] anyone able to tell me if the transparent lockscreen wallpaper has been re-enabled in this release?
 
great job on finally fixing the infamous network and status bugs.
Is there a way I can help in translation MIUI to Slovenian? Does it make a difference for bluetooth keyboard?? I am using an apple (keyboard with Slovenian configuration, but it's detected and behaves as an english configured one as I am using english language.
Is translation the same as android localization, where you make a folder for values for each lang. and only change the strings.xml?

isnt the whole point of free software it can be improoved upon? :D didnt xiaomi share the source code?
 
Mark can you point us to the Google now that you speak of in XDA the only one I can really find requires aosp ROMs?

not if your country doesn't allow it... then you need to download it, but it's still an easy update
but the thing I darn is that when I update MIUI, I along actually downgrade the google maps and gmail and it has to be done along the miui update

I'll look into updating our gapps packages. We only got the ROMs on thursday. It was a rushed week. We were up into the late hours of the night.

Security Protection for Apps is not working on Nexus S MIUI JB (in fact it was not working on the last ICS update too).
 
Ok thanks much downloading from my PC did from N7 before will check MD5 and try again. Download is a bit slow but going .

Just flashed MIUI JB on the toro twice and checked MD5. Both times I flashed, there were no errors and the MD5 looks good. However, it does not boot. It just goes to the Google logo, attempts to boot again and then just returns to recovery. I saw over on xda forums that Ryan is aware of the issue and he's working it, but I wanted to let potential flashers know. Thank you for providing the toro build; very excited for its potential!
 
This week updated new feature is cool, however they still haven fix the lockscreen laggy bug. So I decided to stick back to 2.8.3
Is there anywhere I can find the standalone status patch that I can flash through cwm???
 
I can't explain how happy i am right now..really appreciated
by the way, can somebody let me know what is the difference between MIUI.com release and here one? any tweaks added?
