The way the lockscreen has some different/weird behaviour. After phone is off and locked, when I power on, for a brief instant, I see my phones desktop wallpaper, then it pops over to the lockscreen. Possibly related to the work MIUI China did to improve lockscreen efficiency.

I have the same on my sgs2. Also the msgs and calls are not shown on the lockscreen when I press on the lock icon. They only work if I unlock and relock, then press the lock icon

Wouldn't it be easier (if possible) to include the Chinese language pack from Miui China rom and include it in miuiandroid rom?

Hi there. Thanks for yet another great update!! One question. It mentions something about being optimized for use with v4 themes and someone else has mentioned that means themes are now fully working however when I apply a theme the dialer, sms and system menus dont change and remain the default MIUI orange theme. I am pretty sure the theme I downloaded was v4, it is called Concept ICS.
If the themes are now fixed then any idea what I am doing wrong? Or did I misunderstand what people are saying about themes being fixed.
Thanks - Also been having a random crash since the update. A message keeps on popping up stating that com.android something or other has stopped working however the phone continues to operate normally.

Whenever turn on the screen, first default theme wallpaper flash and then custom wallpaper or custom theme wallpaper shows up. Looks very bad. it there any fix for it.
And is there any other launcher with which MIUI themes works?

I have been holding out on MIUI V4 for a long time. I just installed it last night. I came from Gingerbread. 2.3.9. I wish I could keep GB forever as it is perfect for me and smooth like my nuts when I just finished shaving them. I decided to make the jump because I need to use some programs that require ICS. Well, Lets get to the good stuff. I installed it and I have a few remarks about it:
1. The ROM itself is not fluid at all. To switch from toggles to notifications it takes me like 3 or 4 swipes. The sscrollable widgets are choppy as hell and even inside menus the scrolling is sometimes very fast and sometimes very slow. Very unstable.(Annoying as hell)
2. I have installed GO LAUNCHER. I have some scrollable widgets and when I am scrolling them in the middle of the widget sometimes the notification bar slides down. This is because I have set the gesture for the notification bar to come down whenever I slide down anywhere on the screen. ON GB when I scrolled my widgets, I did not have this problem. What needs to be done here is that the widget commands need to overlap all others on the screen once they are placed. I get the feeling the widget priority is at par with the background. NOT GOOD. (ANNOYING AS HELL)
3. I really miss the fact that when I used to punch in a number here in China I could see the province and city where the number was located. Now, all I can see is CHINA. Before I could see for example 广东广州.
4. I can set the lockscreen that I want. But I cannot see it. For some reason the default lockscreen from MIUI V4 is shown.(ANNOYING AS HELL)
5. The themes, well, I read somewhere that no themes are supported, so I really cannot complain as I already knew we cannot do anything with themes on this things yet.
I would like to know if this ROM will at any point become SMOOTH and the scrolling of widgets in the middle of the screen affect other gesture enabled applications such as GO LAUNCHER'S please let me know. As I am very inclined to go back to GB. Thank you.

MIUI 2.5.11 on SGS2 uses lots of RAM. After killing all the tasks, it remains on more than 500mb.

NVM all my input. I went back to GB. Not coming back to ICS until it is stable. I had to get in touch with developer to cook some features from ICS into GB applications for me. Thanks for the hard work. But this ICS MIUI V4 ROM is by no means ready to be used on a daily basis by someone that depends on it during important tasks. Thanks for the work anyways. ITS FREE GUYS.

Somebody can tell me how to change the fonts? It's not working via theme manager – actually, one pack I made is still working –, and when I change the fonts straightly from system folders in rom package, the same issue occours: freezing during boot.
I can't understand why ONLY ONE .mtz font pack is working. Everyone else are crashing my phone on boot. It's VERY annoying.

About themes: as far as I know now finally themes are working. Everything working but the fonts.
About the theme "Concept ICS" yes, it don't work.
People, please stop reporting that themes don't work. Themes now work. Of course if you install themes for GB then it will never work.
Just be sure that the themes are for MIUI v4. Don't believe me? OK:

Install the themes "The first" or "Jeans" and you will see everything (but the font) themed. Uncheck the font before applying the theme or you will get a bootloop.
