You guys can "fork" this REPO. Make changes. Then issue a "pull - request". Then DhK can approve em and merge it into his REPO.

Finally tracked this bug down. Its an actual bug with either apktool or that Email.apk app.

Look how the extension is .png.png. No one edits this image. It simply is like that in the default APK. Pretty strange. Adding a hardcoded fix to rename those back to one .png
