Hi, I also upgraded from/to the same version and tried the same and it works for me, no crash.
Try clearing dalvik/cache?

I did that soon after flashing.
Maybe it's a translation bug...what language are you using?
For me it's crashing with my native language (Italian) and English US as well.
Can you try setting the language to English US?

I'm using English UK. Changed it to US but it's still working fine

With that update fingerprint sensor work a lot better.

Portable hotspot is working again, it was broken on 8.5.3.0.
Also the translation problem causing crash entering Developer options is solved.

About fingerprint...for me that sensor works the same (and well) since the first ROM I tried (8.0.10.0).
IMO it is just suggestion+practice on using it.

My mi5s arrived with the global ROM. Can I have problems (LTE, BT, Wi-Fi, etc) by installing this Xiaomi.eu ROM, since it's based on China builds? I'm from Brazil and I'm feared to have this issues, once I have with mi4c... Tks!

What kind of problems were you having?
There's no difference in LTE, BT or WiFi between China and global roms as far as I'm aware
