New MIUI 14 Stable Widget bug

Guys, I installed MIUI 14 (V.14.0.2.0) on my Redmi Note 11, however the widgets don't work as they should, they keep the download icon and never download. I can't change any of their settings either, it's like they're just an image. what can I do?

No idea, either your network blocks them from being downloaded, or the server rejects the connection. Can't guess here.

I had the same problem. When all the widgets are displayed, you can simply press and hold them, then drag them to the home screen. However, the widget wasn't downloading if I was doing it in that way. I had to tap on the widget first and then press "add to Homescreen," and that worked for me.

problem solved! I did exactly that and it worked perfectly, when I clicked on the widget it downloads to display before adding the home screen! thank you very much for your help guys
