I tried this theme and the idea blew my mind, sooooooooooooooooo amazing, whoever came up with this idea is a genius and this could lead to other great themes in the future too.
As for lag, lock screen was laggy on miui rom itself, it will be sorted out in the future.
And if lag is due to the theme, then we wait, still, as this really is like a preview.
And once again, totally amazing work.

Applied theme, now i cant switch to it!!!
I tried more than 100 times (swiping two fingers upwards on screen) but nothing will.happen! Can anyone help pls?

Try swiping downward with two fingers.
Then give it some seconds to load for the first time.
Its not perfect so you may have to restart system or reapply theme.

Also swiping downwards doesn't work for me
Also Some times swiping downward goes to "Edit Widget" mode!!!

I tried to apply this and it says "theme does not contain required resources." I've re-downloaded it from here, miui.us, and miuithemes and it still says the same thing. Does anyone know why it is doing this? I'm running miui GB.

MIUI Gingerbread will not support that theme framework. ICS or JB only.

Hold down a finger on the desktop and you will enter Editing mode.

Then you can add / edit widgets and other stuff like home screens

yea you need to rename the .mtz to zip then open the zip, there's a few files in there, one being named with upside in the filename. Rename to a .zip extension file keeping the original name, open that and you will see other mtz files for stuff like camera and file explorer.

You need to look at the way that stuff is done and also scene.xml.

Installed this and had all sorts of "errors" popping up.
The phone tends to tell me to "Hold down the power putton for more then 1 sec to restart the phone", "Your phone has entered a safe mode and you can't do anything at this moment".
After wiping cache and dalvik, installing MIUI (Not fresh install) I still see these messages from time to time.
Theme manager really seemd to struggle with this theme, was just a mess for the time I had it.

Good initiative, though didn't work to well on my phone at least.

Yes, i use mv into the terminal.. but i have always that error

I think i have a solution to the whole "Application is not installed on your phone" issue. I think (and I could be wrong), that its because the SGS2 and 3 dont use the standard MIUI camera and FM radio. I downloaded the MIUI Theme editor and opened up this theme and the solution seems to be as simple as just updating the component to launch.

For example:
The FM radio's _content tag has the following value:

#Intent;action=android.intent.action.MAIN;category=android.intent.category.LAUNCHER;launchFlags=0x10200000;component=com.miui.fmradio/.FMRadioMain;end|

I reckon that if we knew the package names for the missing apps, I could edit the theme and see if that works. Any takers?

It seems that the properties for the locale are missing, what does this mean?. When you try to run java -jar MIUIThemeEditor.jar, from the command line you will see that it will show an error saying that it doesn´t have the right properties file for your country, in my case was es_MX, because I´m from Mexico and we speak spanish.

Basically, to fix this you have to open the MIUIThemeEditor.jar with some rar or zip app, then extract the "resource_en_US.properties" from the jar, and then change the name to "resource_xx_YY.properties", where xx is your language and YY is your country. Then add it to the jar.

By this time, it should be perfectly running and you should have 3 properties files in your jar: the chinese one, the us one and yours.


Also, I found some modified theme that maybe works with Samsung phones m4ssimo and the guy added some other cool stuff. I installed this modified version and is great. I also modified some things from it becasue I don´t have a Samsung phone, I use an HTC Sensation, so I make the Radio and the Camera to work.
