Resolved MiCloud Backup is not working. Can't do backup or restore!

I have the same issue for almost two months.
If I install stable version, it works.
On development room it does not.
I know it is happening also in the global miui version by xiaomi.
It is a bug within miui.
Hopefully they will fix it ..

I think a xiaomi bug, therefore xiaomi.eu...
Although they claim it was fixed, for me it only works on stable

I made the factory reset and installed the Global Rom MI8Global_V10.0.3.0.
With this version MI Cloud backup is working.
Just to crosscheck I installed xiaomi.eu again: MI Cloud backup does NOT work.
For me it is clear that this is an issue with the xiaomi.eu ROM.

With this version MI Cloud backup is working.
Just to crosscheck I installed xiaomi.eu again: MI Cloud backup does NOT work.
For me it is clear that this is an issue with the xiaomi.eu ROM.

Did you also try comparing the China Global Rom with the China developer?

Yeah, we found that CloudBackup.apk is different in Developer ROM vs Stable ROM. Currently you can fix this by manually replacing CloudBackup.apk in your ROM with one from a stable ROM. We'll do that for you in the next release.
