MI10 fastboot after firmware update. I'm stucked

Hello, so i updated my firmware to the latest via smartphone update as always, it automatically rebooted in fastboot mode and i can't exit from that, mi10 will now only show the fastboot screen with no menu options. All button combinations lead to rebooting to the same fastboot scree

I am totally desperate and i don't want loose my file on the smartphone, what happened and what can i do?

i am european and the mi 10 never had problems (no root ecc), i don't understand

I have the exact same problem, I was on normal EU rom, no root, got the update message, did the update and now it only will boot into fastboot mode.

Any ideas?

this is unbelivable, it is inevitably a mistake by xiaomi in the update. I sincerely hope that it can be resolved

Bought it from a known shop in the Netherlands, no rooting no nonsense, and my phone is now stuck in fastboot...

UPDATE!

If you are stuck in fastboot. Press Volume up + Down + Power button.

It will bring you to the Xiaomi rescue thingy.
You have 3 options

1- Update
2- ERASE ALL DATA
3- exit.

I tried 1, and it even shows that the update is absolutely messed up.

DO NOT PRESS OPTION 2

Just open up the rescue thingy and exit straight out again.

It took me 3 times, but it works.

Thank you so much. Its works. Can´t find update then exit and the device is booting up. So great ! And now Backup !

this happens because it resets to default boot when the twrp doesnt work properly but there is no default boot just a non booting twrp
DO NOT PANIC - happened to me many times- your device is fine - just it wont find the way to boot system
what to do ?
try fast boot boot commands with different twrp - the command is not flashing but booting
fastboot boot xxx.img (you can rename those twrp for easier usage )
when it boots to any twrp try to boot system from the boot menu of twrp
consider what twrp version you are using with what system - android 11 twrp or 10 twrp they are not the same.
and do not format anything before trying to fix

Try search an update and just exit on option 3, will boot correctly

the same thing happened to me too. Since then I haven't used the phone in the hope that I can save the data. I used now the key combination Volume up + Volume down + Power and am now in the MIUI Rescue System. There I have the choice Start or Exit? How should I proceed in order not to have any data loss?

Just press exit . No data loss

if I press Exit now, I get back into FastBoot mode, right?

No it will boot into the system. Then the phone will be ok. No data loss and fix the start up boot problem. You can restart the phone again and it will boot normally
