My Mi remote crashed too, coming from global stockrom after flashing xiaomi.eu. (Not sure whether I used a Titanium Backup for this app)

I was not able to uninstall or reinstall app from Google App Store as it was a system app. However, when I downloaded duokan.phone.remotecontroller apk 5.4.7 from "apkmonk" I could install over system app in xiaomi.eu 9.0.5.0.NCFCNEI stable on my Redmi Note 4 global (mido) and make Mi Control work again (even in local language)
