Mi-2 Signature verification failed

This annoying error pops up every so often when I try to flash gapps with my mi2 after flashing another rom first. I've checked in several other threads but don't know why it's happening. As far as I know it's not possible to toggle signature verification in MI-Recovery. Is there another way to get rid of this error?

We include GAPPS in MI2 for that exact reason.

its a little hectic but you can manually copy the files to system partition and then set the permission using the Root explorer.

Sign the file or use CWM or TWRP.
