Use Magisk and create a simple Magisk module. What's your current ROM version?Does anyone has tips
what to do when system cannot be read to install anything? Its something with Error - cannot read or write system or data at twrp.
Flashing itself to the latest version worked. But Miui Center clock.zip doesn't.
It's 12.2.1 stable CMIUse Magisk and create a simple Magisk module. What's your current ROM version?
Magisk module => CenterClock_for_CMI_V12.2.1.0.RJACNXM-Magisk.zipIt's 12.2.1 stable CMI
When I flas via Magisk, it says " this zip is not a Magisk module - installatin failed" (I'm on Magisk 21.1.)
Awesome, thank you so much! That worked finally
No problem.Awesome, thank you so much! That worked finally
Could be so kind and explain the steps that put you in trouble as well how you managed to solve it?Hi,
I was on TWRP "recovery-TWRP-3.4.2B-0623-XIAOMI10-CN-wzsx150" and I just flashed recovery-TWRP-3.4.2B-1206-XIAOMI10-CN-wzsx150. It was pretty hard, my phone was bricked (only fastboot access) but I success to install TWRP 12.06
Over the past several weeks there has been an issue between the Mi 10 (umi) weekly ROM and later TWRPs. The latest ROMs have had TWRP 3.4.0 included with them. This is based on an earlier TWRP that is stable, but does not include decryption. You can upgrade ROMs through USB-OTG with this TWRP.Hi,
I was on TWRP "recovery-TWRP-3.4.2B-0623-XIAOMI10-CN-wzsx150" and I just flashed recovery-TWRP-3.4.2B-1206-XIAOMI10-CN-wzsx150. It was pretty hard, my phone was bricked (only fastboot access) but I success to install TWRP 12.06
But ... I cannot install Project 404 ROM.
I got these errors :
Failed to mount '/vendor' (invalid argument)
Failed to mount '/odm' (invalid argument)
Any hints ?
You mean couldn't boot to system? From recovery? Never tried powering off the phone and booting from that state?Yes sure
1) Downloaded the twrp 12.06
2) Reboot in fastboot mode
3) Flash by fastboot command
==> previous TWRP (0623) was erased but I could load my actual ROM./
You will need to download / have available the TWRP 3.4.0 - from here (TWRP 3.4.0) in your computer folder with fastboot.exe file.
Connect your computer to your phone (which is in Fastboot mode), and from your computer, issue the command:
fastboot flash recovery [TWRP-3.4.0-umi.img]
Then
fastboot reboot
This should return you back to your phone.
You mean in 3.4.0? Because in 3.4.2.0623 I couldn't find that option. In TWRP of my previous post, in the bottom left tiles, you have a option in the (short) list which fix the boot. I don't remember the exact text, but if you touch the option, you can read a short description of the action.
True, but you can boot to 1206 only via fastboot. It can't be flashed over 3.4.0.Yes, 3.4.0
And yes, that's why I wanted to upgrade twrp0623 to twrp1206. It can decrypt now
TWRP 3.4.0 and 3.4.2b both have the 'Fix Contexts' :0623 doesn't have it. Thank you for the tip.
