New Mail - Exchange - PIN Security

Hi,

I have a strange problem my company requires 8 PIN for security for exchange connection but i cannot put more than 4 which is big problem for me. I'm on 4.8.29

Use a patched exchange.apk that bypasses the security settings of the exchange server.
There are several different versions on xda available. Another option might be to use nine as a mail client. That one should have an option to bypass security settings.

It is ok for me to have security and I like that Miui V6 email client. There is only small problem with PIN which cannot be longer than 4 digits

Same problem here on 4.10.31. Really is this a very big problem? The dev team can't resolved it in two months?

Well your company needs to do something, because you can't change from 4 pin to 8 pin.

Lol its not a bug, it's an incompatibility. So either you change phone or your company changes pin to 4 digits. Those are the only solutions.

You have MailWise app on PlayStore which can bypass exchange security requirements.
I think it is much easier solution then to expect that ROM will be changed just because of you (to be honest for 99.9999% users 4 digits PIN is enough)
btw. have you tried password instead PIN?

Yes I tried the password but it asked the 4 pin again.. Sadness

Same problem here.. Working for a large multinational of 80000 employees. Believe me, they are not going to change their security policy by changing from a 5 digit security code to a 4 digit because MIUI 6 only supports 4 digits

Thanks, I mentioned this bug already somewhere else, but one more time extra won't harm,also because it is still not solved.
