On mi10 pro the eu rom should pass cts without magisk (clean install). After flashing magisk, activating magisk hide should again make cts pass. if that is not the case something else is breaking it.

If your phone passes CTS without magisk? Doest Google pay work for you without magisk?

Oh then i cannot help you sorry I have a mi 10 pro. Yes Gpay works with or without magisk i tried both
Btw are we talking about beta or stable....i know on stable Gpay is working fine without any issues or need for magisk....but on beta its different
Sorry, my assumption is that this thread is only for android 11 beta.
If I'm not mistaken google pay checks a couple of things.
1. Saftynet
2. /data/data/com.google.android.gms/databases/dg.db
3. maybe other stuff ?
So the main thing these scripts all do (the one i linked and the one Mali2 mentioned) they add gms and gfs to magisk hide
And modify the database dg.db so that every "attest" row has the value 0 in column c.
At the end set database to read only
So i would check why safetynet fails in the first place. Does the rom fails on poco f2 pro even after a clean install? does it use basic or hardware attestation?
Well im on Android 11 Beta... if I uninstall Magisk i should see if it passes? or do i need to clean install again?
You can start by uninstalling magisk and checking again. If it fails again you can try a clean install.
Also check what kind of attestation does it use please.
If it also fails after clean install the only suggestion i have is magisk props. It can force basic attestation (at least untill google forces hardware) and set a valid profile
Maybe someone with poco f2 pro can give you better suggestions
OK i will try tonight and may switch back to stable...btw it uses basic attestation.
The same... I go back to the stable version... But the call phone works better on Android 11...

It is called magisk-debug.zip now, i cant see the 20421 you mention, or can you link direct?
Sorry for not being clear yes that's the zip. The version number will show up later in magisk manager. Please update your magisk from manager canary (if you already installed it) or download the latest zip as explained by katerpanne

Did you downloaded the new version and please tell in detail what you did and what is the issue. What is a fresh install… format data, wipe davlik & cache, uninstall_magisk.zip ?
