Magisk Manager not detecting Magisk

no it should work out of the box. Check if magisk is installed correctly. does it show magisk version in manager?

i tried the vw financial services app and if i check it in magisk hide the app will no longer show the security warning when launching it.
did you do any other modifications? does safety net passes? did you hide magisk manager and activate magisk hide in settings? is your device certified in google play? (some general troubleshooting questions)

so far the only thing that does not work for me (regarding magisk) is viper4android which has some problems on android 11 with selinux apparently

Can't speak for Holger237, but having a similar if no the same problem:
- Magisk Hide seems to work fine, I tried with termux and tried to call the executables and it didn't work.
- I checked the installation in Magisk Manager. Looks fine, all green with version 20400.
- I did no other modifications
- No, the km30pro is not certified for SatyNet out of the box on the weeklys, which is why I need Magisk Hide Props and run the props command with su from the command line...

how did you install magisk 20400 on android 11? the one i provided is 20420.

Now that you mentioned it, I see that difference, too. But I swear I just installed the Magisk-v6c8fe465-Mi10Pro.zip from Mega.nz that is posted here on page 1...
UPDATE: It's version 20420. Sorry for the confusion.

I have deleted the TWRP folder. All apps witch need it get root access. In Android 10 it works fine.

What happens when you try to hide magisk manager? Do you get the prompt to allow the installation? If not go to developer settings and enable "install via usb"

With more time I realized that the Magisk Manager version was outdated. Updating to the latest Canary version of Magisk Manager resolved my problem.

Anyway, thanks a lot @B!GBOY for your work and support!
 
I update to the last magisk manager and now i can grant app. But the phone is always not certified and safetynet doesn't work...
Any solution for android 11?

flash weekly
reboot to recovery and flash this file i am all good?
wipe cache dalvik after..

About the magisk: Yup just flash it. It's the normal Magisk just with one check disabled.

About the rom installation part and wipe here is my experience on MI10 pro:
I flashed the 13th when it came out and then upgraded to 20th and 25th and had no problem with storage or screenshot as others discussed. Then I was experimenting, f'ed up something and had to do a clean install and with 20th or 25th build I had the same problems as others. So I went back clean installed the 13th set it up and flashed 25th on top of that and no problems so far. There is a new build (28th) but I have not tried that as a clean install.


As always here is a community everyone share their experiences and opinions mine is also just my own. I hope it helps others but it is always your choice what to install and what to do with your phone and therefore your responsibility :)
 
Anyone managed to get google pay working i tried with signed fingerprint and it still shows that im rooted :(

glad you figured that out. with fingerprint you mean with magisk props?
Mine did work without that. It passed safetynet and device was certified without anything other than activating magisk hide

It stopped working again..i tried everything with magisk props and still CTS failed and GPAY says im rooted
