Hi.. Glad you like it.. This mod should work just fine with the extended settings. Just make sure you flash the extended settings first.
I don't know much about widgets to be honest, but I'll have a look..
 
Hiding the screen indicator

Hi there Andy,

I'm using this mod on my X10i (unofficial MiUI by TripNRaver).
I really like it. Thank you for your work and sharing.

I'm wondering if it possible to hide the 'points' / indicator that show how many screens you're using. Since I'm using only one homescreen it's unnecessary info and takes up unnecessary space.

Been testing this for awhile on my Desire and seems to work smootly except two things

The folders seems to be abit to high on the screen and on the launcher settings, where i think it's supposed to say Disable Wallpaper scrolling, it just says som numbers.

Added pictures (of the bugs?) in the attachements.

Hi..Thanks for the feedback. Are you by any chance using a Language other than UK-English on your phone? I think that's what's causing the strange lable you're seeing. I defined the string as UK-English only. I've changed that and adjusted the folder postitioning.
Hopefully it should be OK now, but let me know if it isn't..

OP has been updated with the new version..

or maybe try dragging your icons from the dock into a folder?

Oh ye i'm using morelocale to swap atleast some apps to swedish :p But yes idd that was the fault, tried to change it back to en(USA) and it worked. But i guess it doesn't matter if it only says random numbers, it's working atleast lol :p
 
Andy, have you spoken to Mark or the MIUI devs about possibly incorperating this and your extended settings mod into the actual builds? All as on / off switches. That would be cool :) i love your work

p.s confirming it works on SGS2

p.p.s Andy do you use Twitter in regard to announcing updates / new projects ect?

I do have one small issue...I'm currently running MIUI.US 1.8.12 / Extended settings 1.8.12 / Launcher Mod 1.8.12...when I try to install an app from the market, or restore one from Titanium Backup, my phone goes into a Launcher force close loop. It will continue to do so until I uninstall the app. I have tried battery pull, fixing permissions, reboot, hot reboot, and reflashing mod. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Hi.. I haven't contact Mark, it would seem a bit like blowing my own trumpet which I'm not very good at. Having said that, I'd love to see my mods included in the main release, it work be awesome to see how the proffessionals do it..I'm sure it would make my mods look rubbish..

I think I'm the only person left in the world without a Twitter account, I might be tempted to dip my toe in the water at some point :eek:

Just tried installing an app and it worked fine. Can you get hold of the Logcat? If you PM it to me I'll do my best to figure out what's going on..
 
I guess then I would be the second person without a twitter account, never had one and never will. Don't even have a facebook either lol.

Hi..There's an app to do it. But that's useless to you if you're Launcher isn't working.. :eek:
The other way is with the Android Dubug Bridge, a Google seach for adb will get it for you if you don't already have it.
Once it's installed, go to your phone and turn USB debugging on. Plug the USB into your computer and at a command prompt
type adb logcat > logcat.txt
That's it..
 
Just a friendly reminder to all that have installed this MOD. As it's Friday those of you who are planning to update to the lastest release MUST reset your launcher before you flash the latest release. The easiest way to do this is go to Settings > Programs > Manage Applications > All then select Launcher from the list and clear data. That will set your icons back to a 4x4 layout. Once that's done you can flash the latest release and than repapply this MOD if you want. I'll try to get the lastest version posted today if I get time..

Do I do it as the launcher is f'cing? I reverted back to the standard launcher(yours) and apps install just fine. I can't stand adb. I'm going to install the app, then give it a try.
 
Andy,

I noticed in your index (on magic monkey) an update file called "volumebootcombo". Is there a link you could give to whatever thread references this? I couldn't find anything about it on google (except downloads of it), and I've really enjoyed your other uploads.
