- MIUI 3.6.14
- AOSP QDT14

In post #2 you can find XTweaks. If you want to use XTweaks install in recovery.

That's weird, is it working again when you flash the stock kernel back?

It's strange; I've flashed right now the custom kernel and is working well. Maybe is necessary to flash it after first reboot, or after setting up the phone?

I flashed XTweaks on my M2S, but seems like it only supports M2, cause the frequencies for the CPU are not correct.
Will it work if I simply change on "customconfig.xml"

I can't set the CPU Governor in the last WIUI 3.6.14 to ondemand. Aways after apply, no problem, but if I open XTweaks again the governor is set to interactive again. Can you help?

I have this problem too. I will fix this with the next kernel release 3.6.21 which will be out saturday

Hey everyone,

I've uploaded two new kernels
- MIUI 3.6.21
- AOSP QDT14
Both kernels are cleaned up compared to older versions.

I have an important announcement to make. From this week XTweaks is no longer supported by me.
I have several reasons for this decision, I will explain them in detail.

First of all the XTweaks application is very outdated. It's a mockup of various android GUI parts.
Some are gingerbread others are Ice Cream Sandwich/Jellybean. Some parts are hardcoded with Java others are XML.
It's really hard to maintain this application, because code is horrible and I am not an application developer.

Second XTweaks is using universal config interface which is not that configureable on every side.
UCI uses hardcoded settings, not device based. So here comes the problem.
I have a Mi2 which is fully supported, but Mi2s is not. Mi2s has diffrent CPU.
I relay on other people to maintain Mi2s, and I am not confident with that because I want to test it myself and fix things myself when needed.

I recommend people who are using XTweaks to use other applications from PlayStore like Trickstermod. It's basically the same it's only supports more devices, GUI is far more better than XTweaks too.
You could also use init.d scripts, the core feature of this kernel. I understand not everyone knows how to use init.d perfectly.
I will start another thread in next coming weeks (when I have time) with some tutorials and examples.

I can understand. But does this mean that Xtweaks won't run with the 4.6.21 custom kernel or is there still a chance that it works? I do use trickster mod but just for monitoring purposes since changing the config has absolutely no effect. thanks for yor feedback.

wow.... where did you get that 4.6.21 ? we are still at 3.6.21 !!!
