How to update without losing data

Im on miui 13.0.9 on Poco F3, and I want to update to the stable miui 14.
Can I update without losing my data?
If it was possible, how?

If doing a fastboot update, you just boot the phone in fastboot and run windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat on PC, it'll be updated with no data loss. If it's a recovery rom, just flash it in TWRP, don't wipe or format anything. Downgrading or going to weekly would require a format.

Thanks, but how can I differentiate between the recovery and fastboot roms
It's a zip file

If it has fastboot in the filename, it's a fastboot rom, you unzip it and run the bat file to update. If it doesn't, you move the zip file onto the phone and install it in TWRP, lots of instructions for both around this forum.

@Yousuf57 The most recent zip-file is a hybrid ROM. You can either flash it through fastboot or recovery, just as you like.
