how to unlock hardbricked mi10t pro

hi there

a friends mi10t pro is bricked after a wrong installed update (don't ask my how he did that).
- unlocking is not working (he never added his account via dev options)
- i can boot into miui-recovery and fastboot but cannot unlock with my own account:
"sorry, couldn't unlock more devices by this account this year" hah, that's new...!

any chance to bring that thing back to life again?

Did you tried an new account with new e-mail adress for unlocking?

This won't work, because i have to add the account to the MIUI-developer options before unlocking. Tried with three other accounts now...
