how to relock the bootloader ?

A question, if I want to lock the bootloader again is it possible? i know i have to put the original rom, but what are the other steps?

When installing the factory (original) version of the ROM using Miflash, check clean all and lock
Option 2
Or you can install the ROM and use a script - clean all
If you are satisfied with the installed ROM, you can lock the bootloader with the command - fastboot oem lock

ATTENTION:
Redmi K40 / 40 Pro you can lock the bootloader only with Chinese ROM.
Poco F3 / Mi 11X you can lock the bootloader of any Global ROM.

Is it possible to unlock again after having already unlocked and then relocked?
In other words is unlocking a once-only thing. (Am guessing not, but better to be safe).

Use case is if I want to extend life of a phone by using a technical shop for battery replacement.

but unfortunately due to Xiaomi's decision RULES of LOCK/UNLOCK BootLoader changed again to the WORST
i think this is not clever by them. Xiaomi became great BRAND due to FREE phones and possibilities to choose what you need to do with your OWN phone
of course by your own risk always!!!

if anyone cares or interesting in i could post here a LIST with new measureable times (waiting time) for UnLocking BootLoader

you have OLD (older) MIUI
is not about which MI flash app you use!
i used the same last version
you are on MIUI 12.5 but if you try MIUI 14 you will see the difficulties

for similar reason i decided to STAY on MIUI 14. so i do not want go to HyperOS without ID (InDonesia) trick......
