Hide notch Feature

My phone is MI8. Does anyone know is the hide notch feature be added to the latest EU as well as the 2mm area below notch? If there is, which version is it?

Well, thanks for replying. But one thing I cannot understand: why the 2mm area can be fixed while xiaomi does not fix, but the hide notch feature cannot?

That blue line, there is 2mm hight below the status bar
