I just updated to the newest English Miui Dev version Rom, and all of a sudden my Xiaomi 2s won't turn on anymore. It just starts up, comest to the part where it says Qualcomm snapdragon, and then just keeps on changing brightness while not doing anything. Does this have anything to do with the Chinese SMS I got today? Does anyone else have this problem?
Support would be very welcome.

Looks like a bootloop. Mightby you used wrong file to update. Try wipe cash, and all data if possible through recovery, and upload proper /other update.zip and try again. If you can not, try fastboot option. Look for fast boot update on forum, you will find a toturial.
