The Ultra does also charge like that :)

I really have a feeling that some people didn't follow the instructions precisely .
That's not the fault of the people i guess because windows behaves different each time.

I will find out on Friday ,
with updated platform tools, usb debugging and oem unlock enabled on the phone, cmd as admin, usb cable connection to the rear motherboard connectors, allowed zip content and batch process start through cmd.

Wish me luck .

I wish all brick victims a fast fix .

Good luck and let us know.

I will say this, I am used to flashing OnePlus devices and this is my first Xiaomi device. I followed what I could in the instructions, I did not have an option to unblock zip as maybe it's because I use WinRAR or 7Zip as my compression tools.

usb debugging / xiaomi unlock / elevated cmd prompt were followed. Made sure I was on the latest OTA for my Chinese device.

I did not update the platform-tools within the archive at first because I did not think it was needed. I think it was mentioned, it's strange we could not recover with the official roms and only an EDL flash worked. Phone was plugged into the same USB port as when I tried to do my fastboot cmd flash.

I see many people with problems here regarding the 11 Ultra. I flashed xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V12.0.10.0.RKACNXM_v12-11-fastboot.zip under Linux.
The only steps I did were:
- Unpacked the phone and setup cleanly.
- Requested bootloader unlock and waited 7 days.
- Downloaded xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V12.0.10.0.RKACNXM_v12-11-fastboot.zip and unpacked it.
- Powered on the phone into fastboot mode.
- Ran ./linux_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.sh

I just let the script and phone do it's thing and ~15 minutes later It was at the welcome screen. This is all I did with the phone.

One thing to note is that this phone is using rollback protection. If you have already installed the latest CN rom (V12.0.13.0.RKACNXM at the time of writing) you should flash xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V12.0.13.0.RKACNXM_v12-11-fastboot.zip or later.

After download the zip file you can right click/properties/checkbox"allow" or "unblock" (sorry i am not sure how windows is calling it in english).
I guess it's necessary on windows 10 (latest build) only.

Which one have you downloaded?

I had downloaded both global and china full roms from xiaomifirmware site. The EDL service provider asked if I to use global and he ended up flashing with the files extracted from

miui_STAREEAGlobal_V12.0.6.0.RKAEUXM_d08c834028_11.0.zip

Just thinking aloud here - could it be that ROM versions are the issue here ?

All chinese Mi11U are on a 12.0.x-ROM presently, maybe those trying to flash a 12.0.x-Xiaomi.EU-Version (or Global) are fine while all those flashing 12.5.xx get the issues ?

I did not have the unblock option so I skipped that part, I'm running Windows 10 20H2 so not sure if that makes a difference.

Anyone who has successfully flashed the 12.5.4 on the MI 11 without any problems? SafetyNet pass?

That's weird.
But as i said each windows behaves different, what's even weirder xD.

I'm thinking of trying Linux. What linux flavor did you use? I have Ubuntu and thinking of trying from there.

I just got my phone back so I am not dare to try it again but Linux sound promising. Please let us know if you good news.

Hi Guys,

Does anyone else use microsoft intune? I need it for work, it worked fine on the china rom but isnt working on Xiaomi EU. I even flashed latest weekly that passes safetynet without root and its still the same. I wonder if its to do with permissions?

I have tried flashing in my Ubuntu Linux. It was successful but still stuck in fastboot.

So I just opted for EDL service and went global.

Will just wait for the official/workaround TWRP or at least 98% success rate of another method by other brave members here before going EU rom. :D

Thanks everyone for all the responses trying to help those who bricked their 11 ultras, I included. much appreciated! :)

which version did you go with for global? 12.0.1? will it pass safetynet, does google -1 screen works(Discover) ? Thx!

I went EEA 12.0.6 I think, not passing safetynet or more specifically it's complaining about CTS profile. I tried the props module and didn't help. Not to worried about it right now.

Install this Magisk module to pass SafetyNet on Official ROMs with an unlocked bootloader => safetynet-fix-v1.1.2.zip (mirror link: here)

Reboot your device then "clear all data" of these following apps (in phone's settings):

- Google Play store
- Google Play services
- Google Service Framework

Then reboot your device. :)

Amazing, thanks for this. I couldn't find Google Play Services or Google Service Framework but it still worked.
