GPS is not accurate

Hello.

Many reviews and videos show the GPS is not as accurate as supposed.
Instead of getting the alleged 30cm accuracy it has an accuracy worse than 15m.
I understand this value sometimes can be better sometimes worse, but some tests show that the accuracy is even lower than in most other phones.

I guess it's related with the fact that the regular ROM doesn't take advantage of the L5 signal.

Is this going to be solved?
Maybe with a ROM update?
Or is it a hardware problem?

I bought the MI 8 due to its dual frequency GPS. It is supposed to have accuracy within 30 cm. I only get 16m most of the time. I hope Xiaomi will be able to fix this problem soon.

Google Maps keep rerouting because of the faulting GPS accuracy. This is very frustrating! Please fix the GPS accuracy FAST!
