New Google Play Auto-update not working

Hi, auto-updates in Google Play are set to Wifi only. But since days the updates are queued without any automatic Update. Doing it manually, "Update all" always works fine. But automatically no updates are applied.
This is xiaomi.eu 12.5.12

Ok, it seems that there are automatic updates applied once per day. But the notifications are not displayed, eventhough the notifications are enabled in the Play store and also in the permissions of that app.

Using xiaomi.eu for half a year now. Play Store Auto Updates never worked since then.
