I cleaned all data and Cache in Google Services and GPay.
I deinstalled GPay.
I downloaded your linked version of GPay and installed it.
I hid GPay in MagiskManager.
I started GPay.
I tried to setup my PayPal for contactless payment.
But like every other try before, I still receive error that my device is rooted/changed

Germany.

It really sucks, because Last week i flashed to Weekly Rom and it worked flawlessly. 2 weeks ago in Stable it didn't work. Now in Weekly it doesn't work anymore.
Well nevermind, tomorrow I will get my Mi9 with locked Bootloader, therefore no further issues with GPay expected.

Yes, i already deactivated it 1 week ago. By checking it again, it's still deactivated.

Today it got me. Was successful paying in shop 1 than later in shop 2 it did not work anymore.

Than I dirty flashed 9.3.14, deleted that folder in twrp stated in the thread. Cleaned data on gpay and gplayservice and tryed to re-add my PayPal account.

I does not work. I only get the you phone seems rooted message

I'm having the same issue as everyone else without Magisk.
-Turned off automatic restore.
-Wiped data for Google Pay, Google Play Services and Google Services Framework
-Uninstalled Google Pay
-Reinstalled Google Pay
-Google Pay said I had no network so rebooted
-Logged into Google Pay
-Tried to set up contactless but was hit with the same error saying my device was rooted or changed in some way.
Any help from the devs or anyone who has managed to resolve this issue would be SUPER appreciated.

I tried it but it didn't resolve te problem. GPay is still not working

Any reason as to why this happens so randomly though? Like no change was made to my device at all so am just confused.

Because it's not the Roms fault.
Google updated play services and gpay detection algorithms.

So there's nothing we can do until we get an update then?
Cause that's hella annoying especially cause that's the whole reason I got xiaomi.eu and I never rooted my mi8

Removing this folder helps but I didn't test at shop yet. But I remover folder few hours ago and was able to add card now. I disabled background data for play store - let's wait how long it will work.
