Hello Guys,
before I start I want to say im really new into this rom installing stuff so please be patient. I got my Xiaomi MI 9 device with bootloader unlocked and want now to switch to the xiaomi.eu rom. I read many tutorials on this forum and started but I failed. I installed the rom and everything booted right and worked.. but the Google Services didn't work and coused some black screens and so I had to go back to the offical stable rom.
I want to try it again but before I start I want to ask for some tips and I've got also some questions.
I got the Xiaomi MI 9 with the latest Firmware which are available through OTA. Which version of xiaomi.eu rom should I pick now? And is it possible to update these rom without reset and format data before I start updating? And like above written I've tried it once but it failed, any suggestions why? I did it with TWDL and a version from the fourm here. And are the xiaomi.eu rom also compatible with Magisk?
At the moment I think this is all whats in my mind right now.
Thank you for reading and perhaps sending a good answer!
