Hiya all,

1. How can I check which modem version I'm running? (I get intermittent modem drop-outs, especially on GSM)

2. What version is Garnet_modem_globa_17l.zip (from the Garnet_modem_global_A14 HyperOS 1.0 link)?

3. Perhaps the filename could include the HyperOS source and modem code (eg 1.0.17.0.UNRMIXM) in future?

Edit: I wonder if the analogous process for HOS2.0 would fix the eSIM issues mentioned above?

Here are some modems: (will be available for 30 days)
NON-HLOS-OS1.0.17.0.UNRMIXM_20241107.bin https://ufile.io/3t7bhaum (latest)
NON-HLOS-OS1.0.15.0.UNRMIXM_20241011.bin https://ufile.io/451h30og

You can extract these yourself from the file called NON-HLOS-OS.bin from the **FASTBOOT** ROM here: https://miuirom.org/phones/redmi-note-13-pro

Flash: fastboot flash modem_ab modem.bin (but backup your old modem first)

Ok I fixed my ESIM issue flashing the NON_HLOS.img modem from garnet_eea_global_images_OS2.0.3.0.VNREUXM after updating to xiaomi.eu_GARNET_OS2.0.4.0.VNRCNXM_15. I had a semi working modem before that. That's why esim wasn't working. Again this is for garnet global 5g

I confirm eSIM working with Europe 1.0.22.0 modem (software reports "MPSS.DE.3.1.1Nov 14 2024-09:00:04") on xiaomi.eu 1.0.4.0.UNRCNXM.

I had to disable SIM1 before trying to install my eSIM, but no further problems after that, even when switching esims, or disabling eSIM entirely.

@Pande It seems you used the European ROM. Any reason you didn't go for the later Europe HyperOS 2.0.4.0.VNREUXM ?

Or the Global?
I couldn't find those (newer) versions. I have latest garnet Xiaomi.eu ROM (2.0.4.0) but flashed the European modem (from the lastest ROM I could find). My phone is international (global) but I believe both EU and global modems are the same.

Hello! I have the same problem, no modem worked for me, would you be so kind as to share the modem so I can use the esim? Thank you

info: I have tried to do it but it appears as a .bin file instead of .img

What hyperos version do you have installed? Also is your phone global (international)? you could check with your IMEI in this xiaomi page https://www.mi.com/global/verify/#/en/tab/imei
Right now I have installed hyperos 1.0.16.0 stable miui eu, I had to go back to this rom because the modem did not work, but I wanted to install hyperos 2.0.4 , the modem works for esim.

Yes international , Congratulations! You can be assured the phone you have purchased is the official international version.

Cool, then you can flash the Xiaomi.eu 2.0.4 version replacing the file in images\modem.img with the one attached here:
https://filesend.io/d5LI/modem.zip

This was extracted from the oficial garnet_eea_global-ota_full-OS2.0.4.0.VNREUXM-user-15.0-9cc0c36a24. EEA stands for European Economic Area, but it should work as good as global. Check if you have 5G, GPS, BT, etc after that in your country.

EDIT: just saw the pic, so you are in Spain ?

Thank you! Yes, I am in Spain

I just tested the modem and it gives me an error like the previous time, I don't know how to solve it.
