Invalid Fingerprint issue on MiX2 with 9.5.9

Today I upgraded to 9.5.9 and I can no longer unlock by fingerprint. I can't also add new ones, through I can delete old ones.

Thank you, that definitely helped with the can't unlock issue. However, I still can't add fingerprints. Interestingly, I can add one, but when I try to add another I get "Can't add fingerprint, please try again". Multiple restarts don't seem to help. I can't say whether this was caused by the latest update tho, because I didn't touch fingerprint settings for a while now.

Clear Cache and dalvik cache

didn't help sadly. seems like the same issue as https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/poco-f1-fingerprint-does-not-register.50465/#post-486219 , tho I did not try flashing image again yet nor downgrading

I dont have this issue, came from omni rom.

Just so you guys know I managed to fix the issue by playing with the settings, at one point turning off/on screen lock multiple times it started working. Thanks for the tips!
