Hello, just a basic question..

I have just unlocked my new xiaomi 14 global (eu).

If I flash the stable hyperos, which I think now it's only possible via fastboot,
Will it be possible to flash newer versions via twrp once it's available without formatting data?
Or it will be always fastboot unless I format data?

Thank you

Actually besides fastboot only OTG in TWRP works. TWRP is not able to decrypt data.
You can flash ROM updates without formatting data.

I meant,
Today only way is fastboot, i think that there is no TWRP yet.
then when tomorrow it is released the TWRP, if it will be able to install TWRP and new ROM updates via TWRP without formatting data.
the point of "conflict" is if needed to format data when switching from fastboot to TWRP mode.

Thanks!!

What darki said is that TWRP is already available, but you can only use OTG (external usb device) to install.

Anyway you don't need to format to switch between Fastboot and TWRP.
