Driver Problem Mi2 16gb

Hello,

I'm facing a problem with an unrecognized device on win7 x64. Probably related to adb, because adb only shows my phone's info while on recovery and fastboot, but not when I'm running android.

I have usb debugging enabled and I have installed miphone manager as well. It fails to install the specific driver.
Any help on this one?

I suppose the no hardwareID issue could indicate a hardware problem? I'd appreciate any kind of input

update: After cleaning the usb port of the phone using spirit, now it is being recognized by ADB! It also fixed another problem where the usb connection would be lost when moving the phone or the usb cable. But the uknown device is still there, so it seems it was unrelated to ADB.

Hi Redbean, read my edit above. I managed to fix the adb problem.

Hm, I guess it wasn't just me with the unknown device issue then. That's a bit reassuring. Since ADB is working now, this doesn't pose much of a problem for me anymore, but out of curiosity I'd like to know what this device is and why it has no hardwareID
