Device: Poco Pad (which is identical to Redmi Pad Pro).

Does unlocking the Bootloader disable the face unlock feature?

I wonder if unlocking rules are different with tablets versus phones?

Thanks!

Unlocking the bootloader resets the device. Therefore, all data and settings (including facial recognition) are deleted. In other words, the device returns to factory settings.

unlocking the Pad (just like any other device) resets the device and you have to set it up again including face unlock.

Thanks but I was not asking about Face-Unlock data or settings. I was asking about losing the actual Face-Unlock feature or capability?

I previously read somewhere, someone reported losing their fingerprint reader, so I was wondering about losing the Face Unlock feature? Perhaps they meant losing their fingerprint settings instead of the reader?
