Hi,
This question was asked a lot of times but is there a final solution to prevent miui to enable battery optimization for a certain app again?

I already locked app in recent apps setting it up in security app and I set battery optimization to disabled with the hidden settings app.

But miui enables battery optimization again and again for AdGuard app when the app start the process again after updating its filters.

What else can I do?

No such thing in the Hyperbullshitos side of things, usually it's an every 12-hour task for me to set my microG service to autostart. 10,000% annoying AF and made me regret buying my china RT3, me being a cheapskate bite me in the arse hard this time... I should have gone with buying an Ace 3 Pro.

I am using xiaomi.eu_AURORA_OS2.0.103.0.VNACNXM_15 and I see the same problem!

Even if I disable battery optimization in the hidden options, battery optimization is forced back to enabled when I enable AdGuard protection. For example, I see this problem whenever I reboot the device.

There is an interesting post on the AdGuard for Android github page about this issue. It said that privacy protection software like AdGuard is blacklisted in the Chinese version.

I hope that the Xiaomi.eu development team will work around these blacklist restrictions or that the AdGuard development team will register AdGuard as a device management application.

Ok that's an interesting information which I didn't know until yet.
Maybe they could have a look on it in Hyper OS 1 releases.

I encountered this problem with xiaomi.eu_AURORA_OS2.0.103.0.VNACNXM_15, but the version of this ROM is HyperOS 2, so it's very likely that this problem was not fixed in HyperOS 1. Hopefully it will be fixed in a future release.

By the way, if you have a Github account and agree with the information I have just provided, you can go to the AdGuard Issues page and vote your approval for adding this feature. You can vote at the following link: https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForAndroid/issues/5320
