Couldn't finish card setup for pay contactless

I know this has been heavily discussed but I can't seem to find a solution, even after contacting Google, my banks and resetting my device.

Redmi Note 12 5G, purchased 2 weeks ago and I've not been able to add any payment methods to Google Wallet (two separate banks.)

I have been able to successfully add them both to my old Oppo device.

I've ran a number of tests using Payment Setup and Play Integrity API checker and they're all coming back successfully.

Running HyperOS 1.0.6.0 UMQEUXM on stock UK rom (purchased directly from Xiaomi)

Any suggestions?

Still having the same issue on my Mi 14 Pro with global ROM, HyperOS 1.0.24.3.18 DEV Beta, should i downgrade it?

That's some nonsense. There is no Global ROM for Xiaomi 14 Pro. You probably have xiaomi.eu custom ROM.
Update to Stable and then perform an integrity test in the Google Play Store app.
