CM11: all of a sudden /storage/sdcard0 is read-only

And I have no idea what caused it and how to fix it :-/

I posted already a thread at the xda forums (http://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-2/help/sudden-sdcard0-read-t2953122) but didn't get an answer yet. Not sure where to ask as well ... ;-)

I hope someone can help me at least starting to tackle that problem!

I had the same problem some time ago.
Try to reformat the SD card in cwm.

Well - M1cha put me on the right track: the file-system was corrupted and I had to run an e2fsck to fix the problems ... after that everything is just fine B-)
